We want to make sure our guests get the genuine Poteet-grown berry. All local berries are in boxes which state "Fresh Produce-Poteet, Texas" during Festival Weekend. The Poteet growers also have locations on the Festival Grounds to sell their berries.

Each year the Poteet Strawberry Festival is host to over 100,000 people. We make every effort to ensure each of our guests has a memorable experience. Below is information to help you plan your visit to the festival

For your convenience, tickets can be purchased at any of the gates or in advance through our online ticket sales. |
- At the Gate - $15 per day per person (ages 13 & up) - Buy Online & Save!! - $12.50 for 1 day per person or $10 each for 2 or more tickets
Tickets prices are per person and good for one day only. If you plan to attend both Saturday and Sunday, please purchase a ticket for each day for each person ages 13 and up. |
Military personnel (active, reserves and retired) get in free with Military ID (does not include dependents) |

Getting Here
Poteet is centrally located in South Texas approximately 25 miles from San Antoino. Served by State Highway 16, there are several options for getting here.

San Antonio - IH 35/Loop 410 From IH 35 South: Exit 49 "Poteet/Palo Alto Road". Turn Left onto "Poteet Jourdanton Highway". Go approximately 25 miles. Poteet Strawberry Festival main entrance is on right. Froom Loop 410: Exit 49 "TX 16 S/Palo Alto Road". Turn Left onto "Poteet Jourdanton Highway" and continue to Festival main entrance. |
San Antonio - IH 37 From IH 37 South: Exit 109 "TX 97". Turn Right onto Hwy. 97 towards Pleasanton. Turn Right onto Commerce St/Bensdale Rd. Continue on FM 476/School Dr towards Poteet. Turn Left onto Avenue H. Turn Right on Highway 16 and go to main entrance on left. |

Take IH 37 North to Exit 103. Merge onto US Highway 281 towards Pleasanton. In Pleasanton, go West on Highway 97 to Jourdanton. Turn North on Highway 16 to Poteet. Main entrance is on the left. |
Laredo
Take IH 35 North to Exit 84: TX-85 and turn right towards Charlotte. Turn left onto Highway 97 towards Jourdanton. Turn left onto TX-162 Spur. Turn left onto Highway 16 North. Continue to main entrance on left in Poteet. |

Take IH 35 South to Loop 410 South. Take Exit 49: Poteet/Palo Alto Road". Turn left onto Poteet Jourdanton Highway/Highway 16 South. Continue to main entrance on right in Poteet. |
Houston
Take IH 10 towards San Antonio. Take Exit 581 Loop 410 South. Take Exit 49: Poteet/Palo Alto Road". Turn left onto Poteet Jourdanton Highway/Highway 16 South. Continue to main entrance on right in Poteet. |

Take IH 35E South to IH 35 South. Exit Loop 410 South. Take Exit 49: Poteet/Palo Alto Road". Turn left onto Poteet Jourdanton Highway/Highway 16 South. Continue to main entrance on right in Poteet. |
Austin, Houston and Dallas visitors may also take the alternate route from San Antonio by following directions for IH 37. |

Parade
The Poteet Strawberry Festival's annual parade kicks off at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 13, 2013 with entries from around the state. Come witness all the pagentry, music and entertainment!
The parade route will begin at the corner of FM 1470 and School Drive. Go South on 9th Street. Turn right onto Avenue H and continue to 4th Street. Turn north on 4th Street and go to School Drive. Turn right onto School Drive and end at Horton Lane.
